For Foreign Applicants
We accept foreign applicants under following conditions:
- Need to graduate high school.
- Obtain a visa by yourself.
- Enough Japanese skills, average level of N2 to N3.
The most important issue is "visa".
You do not need have actual score of N2 or N3. We just need to know your Japanese level. If we recognize that you can follow our classes, you will be passed.
How to take an entrance examination
If you clear the above conditions, you can apply to our entrance exam.
1. Submit a certifecate of senior high school graduation, an application form and an admission ticket for examination. The application form and admission ticket can be downloaded from our website. They need to be adhered photographs of your face.
2. Transfer 10,000 yen for an entrance examination to our following bank account.
3. If we receive your documents and entrance examination fee, we send you back the admission ticket with number. You need to bring this ticket with you on examination day.
About the examination
We devide you two examinations; Interview and Essay. Regarding an essay, you pick up one question from three and write maximam 800 words following the question. JAPANESE ONLY.
15 min. for interview and 1 hours for an essay.
Success or Failure
We email you the result of examination.
For Successors
If you receive a result of success, please transfer tuition including enrollment fee to our bank. Details are informed on attached documents on email. We send you admission letter after we receive the tuitions.
Obraining visa is the biggest issue. Even if you passed our entrance examination, you cannot study here without visa. Under any circumstances, we do not cash back the entrance fee.
About Housing
We introduce the coorperated dormitory. The dorm monthly fee include breakfast and dinner in addition to the room. Desk, bed and other simple fanitures are alredy set. The number of vacant room is limited.

Chiropractic Identity:
Chiropractor is a spinal health care expert in health care system. He has an ability to improve function in the neuromusculoskeletal system, and over all health, wellbeing and quality of life. He has a specialized approach to examination, diagnosis and treatment, based on best available research and clinical evidence with particular emphasis on the relationship between the spine and the nervous system. He is an expertly qualified provider of spinal adjustment, manipulation and other manual treatments, exercise instruction and patient education.
Chiropractic in Japan :
Chiropractic is not legalized in Japan, however in 1960 the Supreme Court ruled that any healing arts without harm would not be illegal on the condition that it did not infringe upon other legalized professions. This ruling was for chiropractic profession on one hand but on the other this created many pseudo-chiropractors through weekend seminars and bogus schools of chiropractic technique. The first chiropractic education of international standard started in 1995 as RMIT University Chiropractic Unit Japan in collaboration with RMIT University, Australia. All courses were taught in Japanese language and by Japanese educational staff. This was the first chiropractic program of high standard in Asia and it was accredited by ACCE (Australasian Council on Chiropractic Education) in 2005.
Introduction:
Tokyo College of Chiropractic (TCC) is formerly known as RMIT University Chiropractic Unit Japan succeeded its precursor as independent yet by the same managing body. The TCC has more than a decade of experience in teaching and producing high standard of graduates. It was aimed to produce chiropractors most suited for practicing in Japan There were some modification in curriculum to fit into Japanese culture and people by keeping the international standard. The TCC graduates are accepted as full member by the Japanese Association of Chiropractors (JAC), the representing organization from Japan to the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC), that is a NGO member of the WHO.
Degree:
Te program consists of four year full time. At the completion of more than 4200 hours in the class and practice, the students will receive Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree that is known as the first professional degree in North America.
Curriculum:
Total 4301 hours including basic science, Chiropractic science and clinical internship during the four-year full time program. This education program is accredited by CCEA (Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia).
Subjects:
Anatomy, Histology, Biological chemistry, Biomechanics, Contextual health, Diagnosis, Image interpretation, Biology, Pathology, Physiology, Chiropractic diagnosis & practice, Clinical practicum.

All academic staff are approved by the Board of Trustees of TCC. There are many qualified Chiropractors, medical doctors and PhDs teaching at Tokyo College of Chiropractic. Other part time lecturers also teach at medical or dental schools.
